Two electric sizes

The EVolution electric range comes in two platforms — a full-size 12-metre bus/coach (48–57 seats) for high-capacity transfers, and a compact 9-metre midi (up to 39 city seats, or 29 three-point-belted) for lighter crews and tighter access. Both run CATL batteries, are 100% electric and zero-emissions, and carry an electro-coated chassis for corrosion protection.

  • Route range vs charging infrastructure on site
  • Emissions and underground air-quality benefits
  • Total cost of ownership over the asset life
  • Charging, depot and grid considerations

How MineBus configures it

Electric is the right answer on some runs and not others. We help you assess duty cycle, range and charging against diesel, and supply King Long EVolution electric platforms where the numbers and infrastructure stack up.

Best-fit models: King Long 48–53 Seat

Compliance built in

Every build is referenced to the standards your HSE team audits — ADR 59 rollover strength, ADR 68/01 occupant protection and seat-belt awareness, ADR 80/04 (Euro 6) emissions and AS 5062 fire suppression — and documented for first-time site entry. See the compliance library →

Frequently asked questions

Are electric mine buses available in Australia?
Yes. King Long EVolution electric platforms are available; suitability depends on your route range, duty cycle and on-site charging infrastructure, which we help you assess.
Is an electric mine bus cheaper to run?
It can be over the full asset life on the right duty cycle, but it depends on energy costs, charging infrastructure and utilisation. We model total cost of ownership with you.
